In 1999 Kari Barnes and her long time friend Wendy Sallam combined talent and finances to start the Hat Creek Candle Company. A few years later they launched the party plan division of the company in Wisconsin, and their success quickly branched out to other states.

Hat Creek Consultants sell hand poured candles, hand made soaps, other scented products, and accessories.
